All books submitted for the Ezra Jack Keats Award will also be considered for participation in the Mock EJK Award. This Toolkit allows children to take the role of the Award Selection Committee. Using a small pool of books, they will read, analyze, and deliberate on their favorites. This program sharpens critical reading skills, refines verbal communication, and much more.
