Emma Walton Hamilton to Present de Grummond Lecture

Emma Walton Hamilton will present the de Grummond Lecture at the 2020 Fay B. Kaigler Children's Book Festival Virtual Lectures on Tuesday, November 17, at 12:30 p.m.

Hamilton is a best-selling and award-winning author, editor, stage and television writer/producer, performer and arts educator. Together with her mother, Julie Andrews, she has co-authored over thirty books for children and adults, nine of which have been on the New York Times best-seller list.

The de Grummond Lecture takes place each year during the Children's Book Festival. The 2020 festival, originally scheduled for April, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because many educators rely on the festival for professional development, conference organizers decided to make some of the originally scheduled lectures available virtually.

Registration for the virtual lectures is open, with limited spaces available. For more information on the schedule, speakers, and additional sessions, click here.
